{it's a love story!!}

I am a total hopeless romantic by nature. This engagement session was perfect (besides the Arkansas heat and humidity). But, as sweet as the story is, the couple is even sweeter. The love was very evident between the two. I could literally gush and gush about it!
They dated back in high school, life took them into different directions, and they were recently reunited. They exuded true love and happiness. I know that I am being super sappy! But, that is why I love this so much. It's that love story that will stand the test of time, no doubt. And, it literally has.
We traveled just south of here to her grandfather's amazing farm and literally just played! Those are the best sessions. The wedding will take place on that very same farm next in May. It will be beautiful as her fabulous event planner sister, Jessica Kersey is already deep into the details.
I have literally fallen in love with this unbelievable family. Michael will fit in quite well! I am so happy for you guys! And, as far away as next May seems.......it will be here before we know it!
I had a great time tonight.....
To view a few more of the sneak peek, go to the website and scroll under galleries to Michael & Anna.
p.s. I will edit and upload more into the sneak peek over the next few days. I have a little one who didn't see much of his mommy today, so I am having to call it an early evening. ;)

{adorable couple}

This is yet another rained out, make-up session. But, it was worth the wait as they are PRECIOUS!! I am so excited about working with them on their December wedding.

And, M & D, I failed to explain that the files are compressed for the upload to the blog. I can't wait for you to see them in your gallery when it is complete as they will be much more clear. But, I wanted to provide you with a glimpse in the meantime.

I had so much fun with both of you!!!

{wedding at the farm}

Here are a few pictures from my brother's wedding. I know Jessica has been absolutely dying to see these....but so patient. I have learned, never host a wedding and be the photographer. ha! It was a big day, but worth all of it. It was very simple, a little vintage and full of love and laughter. Here is a glimpse of purely random pulls.....

Getting ready

Her sweet Daddy seeing her for the first time. It was precious!

Her eyes are gorgeous!

And, yes, we hung a chandilier from a tree.....

As we are totally southern....we had to have sweet tea!

This one is precious....he is standing in front of our daddy's truck. James was only three when our dad died - so before it got too dark - we headed to the truck. I have no doubt he was smiling down!

Congratulations James and Jessica and welcome to the family Jess!

{beautiful evening in muskogee, oklahoma}

My next few days will be beyond crazy, so I wanted to get a quick sneak peek up for Jill and Dusty. Last night was PERFECT! The details were amazing, the colors were a dream, the bride was breathtaking and her groom very handsome, the children were full of fun & life and the joy of the families was evident. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I hope I captured sweet moments that you will always treasure!

Is that not the cutest thing ever??
The girls acting like silly girls and having a ball! I love me some girl time as I have a boy-filled home.

Precious!! Look at those middle two - no clue chaos was surrounding them!

There was a perfect field just behind the church. Jill was a brave bride and at that point did not care if her dress got a little dirty. But, even though it has been raining for days, her bridesmaids did a great job in keeping it up and clean. I think you will be very happy we went outside for these. My very favorite place to photograph - the middle of a pasture!

Different versions.....

And little sister repositioned Jill once we decided to leave for the reception for these. Poor Dusty was starving......but, I think he'll be happy we took a few more. Jill - you are stunning!

Oh, my favorite..........Mason jars! Perfect!

The reception venue was so fun!

My very, very best wishes Dusty and Jill!!
