It's not that this picture is spectacular in the way of photography skill. But, I so love the story behind it. The beautiful bride is looking on at her brother who had to walk away as his eyes filled and overflowed with tears when he saw her. He was overcome with sweet emotion. And, of course, because I tend to cry at ALL the weddings.....my eyes were a little blurred as well. It was almost too much to take in. :)

This is one of my very favorite Seniors. She was a 2009 Southside graduate & is now away at college. The lovely thing about her besides the obvious.......is she doesn't have a clue how beautiful she is! And, she's not just that pretty on the outside - she is genuinely so sweet. She and her mom were absolutely great to work with. And, per recent conversation, her brother is currently in Africa doing mission work - so, they remain in my thoughts & prayers.

Okay, one more for tonight as it will be a busy, busy week and I'm not quite certain when I'll be back. :) The file I pulled was random, but as soon as I opened it, I looked for these pictures in particular. They will always be some of my very, very favorite. Not because there is anything spectacular in my camera settings, the location, that perfect lens.......but it is purely about what the picture says. Love.

The emotion is so immense, they truly take my breathe away. And, always will. This is sweet, sweet Rachel and her daddy's first glimpse at her. She was aware he was at the door about to see her for the first time. I could not even contain my own tears. The bond of this family is absolutely incredible - and, this gives you a glimpse. And, I love that mom and brother (sister was in the room as well) were there for this moment too.

She will always be his princess.

He will always be her prince.

Isn't this what she had dreamed of since being a little girl?

I fell in love with this family too! That's the incredible part; it's so much more than standing behind a camera. What an incredible honor for me....
