{i do - take II}

Not the marriage....
but, the pictures. ;)

These are dear friends of ours and like so many {me being at the top of the list!} found her wedding pictures a little less than desired. So, she decided she wanted to get back in her beautiful dress and have J get back into a tux {monkey suit according to J} and have some taken that she had wished she had had the first time around.
It was a great evening {despite the fact I fretted all day about the rain and the wet fields} and here is a small sneak peek into a few we got tonight. I am hoping these were more of what she had in mind....
oh, and for the record....I was not the first photographer {wink!}

Of course, the pictures are compressed and resized for the blog.....but, wanted to give you a glimpse! Hope you enjoy these........
And, one more thing........total kudos to Justin!

{congratulations heather and nathan / joplin, missouri engagement}

Yay! I am beyond happy to be a part of this day! Heather is the sister of the breathtaking bride Jessica and I photographed in July. I feel like I'm cheating as I have had a glimpse into this precious family. Heather and Nathan make a beautiful couple, so they will make my job so easy! I am very much looking forward to our planned "winter" engagement session and we will go all out for Heather's bridals. June 2011 can't get here soon enough!

{congratulations julie and garen / fort smith engagement}

I'm excited about the upcoming October wedding of Julie and Garen that will occur at New Life Church in Fort Smith. We will be shooting Julie's full-blown bridal session soon......and of course the hard part will be keeping it under wraps until the big day!

{unveiled}

beautiful, sweet Ashley! After these bridals got rained out TWICE, we managed to get these on the first day that hit a high of 100 degrees. She never complained once. Here are a few....so hard to choose!!

I had to include this one, this is the shot I thought I heard a rattlesnake (for the record, I have never seen a rattlesnake in my life, thank GOD!) But, it was actually her long veil dragging across some grass/shrub. My heart stopped. But, we had a great laugh!

{breathtaking}

This is a bridal portrait from my sweet Ashley that I have gushed about!! I have had alot of 'technical difficulty' getting any pictures over the last few days to upload. I think I have the kinks all worked out now, so I will be back very soon.

She was stunning the day of bridals.

And, even more so on the big wedding day.

I have ALOT of catching up to do here.

{beautiful bridals}

It is always so hard to sit on something so beautiful!!
And, then with back to back out of town weddings I am just now getting these up! But this is beautiful Holly who is as sweet as she is pretty. The girl cannot take a bad picture! She makes it very, very easy.....

But here are a few from our bridal session in May - it finally happened when the rain finally stopped. I do not think I had a bridal session that actually occurred on the originally scheduled date this spring. But, the make-ups worked out well!

{so lucky!}

I met my amazing bride tonight!! Finally! After our recent rain-outs who would have EVER thought the temperature would hit 100.0 degrees today. The 2nd day of June? It was crazy. But, we were thankful for the breeze as it saved us, especially poor Ashley in her dress! It is so hard to keep these under wraps as I've peeked at them on my camera. She is one amazing girl. I can't wait to meet Jay.

It is funny how she found me. I love those stories, because you never know. But, one of her friends had attended my beautiful Rachel's wedding and had my information programmed into her phone. She shared it with Ashley and the rest is history! I had to do a little rearranging to my schedule and am I so thankful I did. She was all and more I imagined she would be! Beautiful inside and out!

We had so much fun between me thinking I heard a rattlesnake. Don't ask, I didn't. But, we got a great laugh! I pulled it together in time to capture her great laugh on camera. :) Mine was a mixture of heart failure and laughter that I was still alive. Then, I saved her from a big bee and a horse fly that got tangled in her beautiful veil. Two different occurences. And, finally, had to chase them out of our vehicle. Seriously??

Her wedding will be in Fayetteville in just a little over 3 weeks, so excited! She was such a beautiful joy tonight. Can't wait to show her off!

{i'm off}

to photograph a beautiful Fayetteville bride! 3rd times a charm as we thankfully have NO rain today. yay!

Will be back to update blog with some announcements very soon. Stay tuned! ;)

{super-fun surprise!}

Yea! I just wish it were me! But, I have a "bride" - okay, she's been married almost 4 years, but, she is pulling that packed-away wedding gown and getting all pampered up to do the bridals she wanted....but, didn't get. She is going to surprise her husband. And, to be honest - for the fun of it!
Seriously, what girl doesn't want to get dressed up like a princess, even if it's a "re-dress up"? However, I would have to get a new dress as mine is soooooo incredibly dated - or in other words, ugly. What was I thinking?
But, the beautiful girl I am photographying has a gorgeous gown.....we just need it to turn green out there.....will let you know when I can reveal....
