The only person we were missing was handsome Daddy! But, since this is part of his birthday present - surprise pictures of the two he loves the most - it was okay. :) This is our cousin Kat and sweet little Mason. With Kat and David being so stunning (sorry if that's not a politically correct adjective for a guy!) we knew this little apple wouldn't fall far from the tree. He is PRECIOUS! And, he recovered rather quickly after I about scared the little guy to death!

{tj & erin are married! / joplin, missouri

Jessica & I spent the day in Joplin shooting a B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L wedding. And, it was absolutely sooooo relaxed! I have no doubt this couple will have a lifetime of happiness; besides the love they have that is completely evident....they possess a true treasure.....a sense of humor & laughter! It was a joy to see!

You would never know it was completely sweltering out there! And....if you notice the beautiful girl {2nd from the bride} that a sister of the bride and I will be photographing her wedding next June. And........the last girl in the line.......another beautiful sister. Stunning!

I adore the above shot. It was when the congregation was praying over the couple. Very moving.

This family means the absolute world to me! I think the temperature/humidity was the worst for any session I've ever done. So, we kept it very short! With five girls to contend with {me included} I think sweet Roy was happy when I called it a wrap. :)

This is a VERY quick peek at little Miss M......I wanted to get at least one up. She is alllll girl! Such a sweetie!

{groom's cake}

There is nothing spectacular about this picture in and of itself. A simple shot of banana pudding. But, what I adore about it is that it was the groom's cake! He loves banana pudding (I am suspecting he has since he was a little boy) - so that is what they did. It was perfect!!
