Such a beautiful family! I absolutely LOVED all of the outfits. The colors were awesome! I always love me some MJ! The lighting tonight was perfection. No rain - always a great thing! So sweet and nice. To get more of their sneak peek - go to the website and click on galleries and scroll down! These were super-fast edits, so no edits to the backgrounds etc......that will come later. ;) But, didn't want them to have to wait.

I will have to come back tomorrow and actually write a post from our session tonight. But, right now I have a little guy who is up way too late as he is waiting on Mommy. :) But, I've posted a very quick sneak peek on the website - under Galleries.
Love this girl!
Be back later with more!

{congratulations james & jessica / may 2010 "at the farm"}

I'm not exactly sure how I will make it through this one with everything in focus as I will be crying. Although I say that but I pretty much cry at all weddings!
My baby brother is getting married! James is twelve years younger than I am - so he is pretty much like mine. And his bride-to-be, Jessica, is precious and wants everything pink. :) It will be simple, but sweet. We will be having chandeliers hanging from trees, rose petals everywhere, pink lemonade in Mason jars, music coming from a vintage radio.....very shabby chic. 2 weeks from today! But who's counting?

{congratulations brandon & loren / august 2010 wedding northwest arkansas}

Another one that I am very excited to be a part of! After some scheduling conflicts - it ended up working out beautifully! I love it when that happens. This is another one that I am very excited due to the location. It will take place in an open field in Rudy. I love that! Loren is in her last weeks of finishing up at college and then we will be all over scheduling the engagements, bridals, and details of the big day. I am very happy to be a part of it!

{congratulations kevin & elissa / october 2010 wedding northwest arkansas}

Oh, I can't wait! The wedding will take place at The Cabins at Big Springs in Gravette, Arkansas! The setting should be beautiful!! I am so excited about meeting both of you and capturing the details for you to remember always.

{rain, rain go away}

super-pretty please!
I have brides and seniors and little guys and gals that are in desperate need of dry, sunny days!

{they reminded me how much I adore this}

These little ones have graced my blog/website a time or two. ;) They are precious and they truly helped me kick off the spring season well. Biggest brother: one of the sweetest little guys I know. Scott and I were talking tonight as I showed him some of the edits how it is SUCH a small world! I heard about E long before I ever met his mama. When he was little Scott would see him at his grandparents and would run home and tell me about what a cutie he was. I can attest to that - but, he is as sweet as he is cute. Big and Little Brother: I must admit this little guy shocked me tonight! I told him he didn't make me work for it as hard I as usually do. This little one is "a character" defined. He reminds me of my E. Which is scary as I am afraid those two will be getting into all sorts of things together in the future. I just blame it on the name. Although I did get "a look" a time or two.....he actually made it very, very easy. And, lil' sis: what can I say here? I was lucky enough to witness her first breaths! Still makes my eyes tear up!! Whereas I didn't know the first two when they were so tiny - I've witnessed it all with her. Although she is all girl, I'm thinking she rules the roost. But, there is no doubt that she has her two big brothers TOTALLY wrapped!
And, M - you are getting an entire post to yourself tomorrow! ;)
But, I am about to load the sneak peek to the website, under Galleries. Hope you enjoy! They just make me smile!

Seriously, I do not even have to "narrarate" this session, the pictures will speak for themselves! (and, that is soley from the subject matter, not the photography skills) But, first - thank you Will and Holly! You are both precious, I had so much fun with you and look forward to the upcoming bridals, wedding in Tennesse and the after-wedding session.

Also, I failed to tell you this afternoon, but these images are compressed for the upload, once the gallery is up - they will be much more clear, just fyi....

So playful! It made the session incredible!

Love was definitely in the air and the spring colors just added to it.....

"That" kiss ;)

Nothing says spring better than a southern sweet!

Seclusion in the midst of a busy, busy park. ;)

We had to get some Razorback gear on! And, the fun continued........

Thank you for such an incredible session guys! It is truly an honor.

{sneak peek}

It is amazing just how small this world really is! I photographed a sweet wedding in which the bride is the daughter of one of Scott's (& my) dearest friends from UPS - they had worked together since Scott was 18. And, the groom is the son of some of our dearest friends from a church we used to attend before and during our adoption process with our son. They opened their home to a baby shower we still hold dear to us to this day. Sweet memories and sweet friends! I was honored to be a part of it...
I have only posted a few from some outdoor shots. You know very favorite!

My absolute very best wishes to both of you!

{sneak peek}

Wow, I've never had a sneak peek this late! This is from a sweet wedding that occurred in the middle of the rainy day that preceded our record-breaking snow a few weeks back. I have absolutely fallen in love with this bride - she is the sweetest! It's one of those situations in which you feel like you've known them forever.

This is one of my favorite shots - her daddy seeing her for the first time. Some of the sweetest words I've ever heard......"you look as pretty as your mama did." Oh, yes, I was in tears!

Beautiful ring! Excellent choice Kevin!

So sweet!

The rain caused us to stay indoors - but, I'm thinking we can arrange for some "post-wedding" shots outdoors. That's if we can get Kevin to get back in the tux. ;)

A great afternoon! I was very lucky to be a part of it!
