{catching-up}

I've had rain outs (x many!), make-ups, bridals yet to be revealed, several sweet sessions, a major change that will affect AMC in a positive way, rush orders, rush edits, etc....

But, I wanted to post a quick note that I will be back soon! I am about to walk out the door to photograph a beautiful wedding in Oklahoma this evening and then I have a lovely engagement session tomorrow. Monday will be monumental for me in many ways.......after an important appointment with a neurosurgeon in LR for my husband - I will rush back to FS as quickly as possible to photograph loved ones being reunited after serving our country in Afganistan. It is one of the biggest honors of my life and trust me, my tears will be spilling! The weekend is crazy-busy, so if messages and emails are sent, I will respond as quickly as I possibly can!

{Celebrating Adoption}

These pictures have been planned FOREVER. And, I think we were rained out 2 or 3 times, had no openings, sick kids, etc. But, we FINALLY got them and I'm so happy we did! This is the absolute sweetest family ever. Daddy didn't get to join us, but hopefully he will next time. These precious angels were so prayed over in their journey to their mommy and daddy and it thrilled my heart to see them together. I honestly teared up on the mommy and me pictures - there is no doubt that these babies were always meant to be with J & A. Such a blessing for all four of them!

They both have AMAZING eyes! Unbelievable.

They are total doll babies and were so fun! They did such a good job despite me being in their face all night. I now know that EK does NOT like bunnies. So, I will never call the bunnies in to view from afar, nor will I call Batman in from the trees. Not a good idea. ;)

Such a beautiful family! I absolutely LOVED all of the outfits. The colors were awesome! I always love me some MJ! The lighting tonight was perfection. No rain - always a great thing! So sweet and nice. To get more of their sneak peek - go to the website and click on galleries and scroll down! These were super-fast edits, so no edits to the backgrounds etc......that will come later. ;) But, didn't want them to have to wait.

{congratulations james & jessica / may 2010 "at the farm"}

I'm not exactly sure how I will make it through this one with everything in focus as I will be crying. Although I say that but I pretty much cry at all weddings!

My baby brother is getting married! James is twelve years younger than I am - so he is pretty much like mine. And his bride-to-be, Jessica, is precious and wants everything pink. :) It will be simple, but sweet. We will be having chandeliers hanging from trees, rose petals everywhere, pink lemonade in Mason jars, music coming from a vintage radio.....very shabby chic. 2 weeks from today! But who's counting?

Another one that I am very excited to be a part of! After some scheduling conflicts - it ended up working out beautifully! I love it when that happens. This is another one that I am very excited due to the location. It will take place in an open field in Rudy. I love that! Loren is in her last weeks of finishing up at college and then we will be all over scheduling the engagements, bridals, and details of the big day. I am very happy to be a part of it!
